I love the movie The Thirteenth Warrior.  One of my favorite characters is the smallest Viking, Herger ("the Joyous"); no matter what problem comes up (even impending death when fighting against impossible odds), he just smiles and meets it calmly with the statement, "It's a small matter."

Yesterday one of my coven sisters called me and told me that her mom has sent her a LOT of money from the family trust fund before closing it to further withdrawals.  And her mother told her that she hoped she would offer to loan me the money to have my transmission fixed.  Which she did; I think she would have anyway, even without her mother's ( Read more... )
